DEI clients of all industries are faced with demands for quality material to train their staffs – especially regarding the LGBTQ+ community being a topic of critical focus. Atomic created a “living” document that can be updated to remain relevant for that category of training for years to come.
APPROACH. In the development of this project, Atomic discovered that a single-point overview of the community was lacking. This led to the development of the LGBTQ History Timeline. Within the content are additional links for more in-depth investigation and learning. The product became what would be a complete curriculum for study. Even more, the design supports updates and additions to always be current as a “living document.”
CLIENT. There are two main clients for this material. The first are companies that are working to achieve their DEI goals. Second is the field of education where a pre-packaged program can support their curriculums.
PROBLEM. Quality content is lacking in the area of LGBTQ+ history and culture. Additionally, the subject is constantly evolving demanding a solution to support that dynamic.
SOLUTION. This led to the development of the LGBTQ History Timeline. Within the content are additional links for more in-depth investigation and learning.
RESULTS. The product became what would be a complete curriculum for study. Even more, the design supports to updates and additions to always be current as a “living document.”
This project effectively addressed all goals and objectives creating engagement. The approach provided and overview that condensed a lot of data into an emotionally connected message.
This demonstrates the committment of Atomic to teach people to “think”. In this case, students unlearned biases and engaged in transformative dialogues.
