There are several dimensions in developing a Needs Analysis. The first that comes to mind for most companies is the collection of data. But that’s not why you come to Atomic Training. Anyone can do that!

We want to get to know you. We want to understand your company and your people. We want to know what would your dream program would look like. Why?

Taking action

Fact-finding can often reveal the opposite of what we thought to be true. Finding that out early assures that the training you develop has relevance to the need.

Working directly with you, we develop a Plan of Action (POA) that delivers results. Understanding why the training is needed, and what you hope to solve by training, will assure you a solution.

Understanding the performance gap is vital in delivering you a course that fills the need. A well-defined performance gap will allow our team to focus on the need and deliver a product that is grounded in data.

When you take off on a road trip using your GPS or having a map is essential to maneuver the roads ahead. Like your GPS, we will lay out a course of action that will guide you to the results that you are looking for.

Atomic Training can deliver your training in many ways. If you already have a Learning Management System (LMS) we can upload your course for you, if not we can host your course on the Atomic Training LMS. If the delivery is not web-based and is instructor-led, we can have your lesson plan, and slide deck ready for your instructors to use. There are many faucets of delivery, let Atomic Training find the right platform for you.

Kirkpatrick provides 4 different ways to evaluate your program. These include:

Level 1 – Reaction
Level 2 – Learning
Level 3 – Behavior
Level 4 – Results

Whichever level you decide you need to evaluate your program; Atomic Training can design the right survey for you to implement. If you do not have a delivery method to implement your survey, let Atomic Training take care of it.

The return on investment is a given. Understanding the need for training will allow us to ensure that you get a return on your investment. When the program goes into a lifecycle review (six months to a year, or whatever we agree on), Atomic can evaluate the training to ensure we hit the target.


To accurately access the scope of your project, it is important to consider all the tools available to collecting information. At that point, a course of action can be developed.
